We have a new niece! My brother Chris and his wife Ashley had her one week ago today. 9 lbs 11 oz and 22 inches of sweet, snuggly bliss. Ashley wasn't supposed to be induced until Thursday at midnight, but on her 41st week Emery thankfully decided to get the ball rolling on her own. They check into the triage area around 3 am, I think, and were finally admitted to stay around 7:30. We knew what that meant, she was coming today! And she did at 4:15 pm and 42 minutes of pushing. Go Ashley!
Elliot has a yucky cough so the girls haven't met yet but they did get to FaceTime! Tim said Elliot was cackling, waving and grabbing the phone. Buds already!
We are moving right along this month! The biggest things are we are officially crawling! And eating three meals a day of regular food. She's also walking with assistance and behind a little walk-behind walker toy. I bet she'll be close to walking at her birthday!
Walking around things √
And letting go and standing on her own √
Talking a lot √
She's working on three more teeth and has been for about a month now √
Saying: ba-ba, bye, hi, mama, dada, papa, nana, mam (for Mammy), ball, all done, more, dog √
Standing up and sitting down, and standing up and sitting down
Instant mac-and-cheese cups where she can shake and shake the noodles
Mom's purse :)

Sleeping: Going to bed around 9 pm and waking up between 4:30-7 am. I'd really like this to be after 5:30 am since that is when I get up for the day, but we are working on it! If she wakes up before then she usually goes back down until 6:30 or 7 am. If she doesn't wake up until around 6 am she's usually up for the day.
Eating: 5-6 oz every three to four hours. Mostly formula now but still a little breast milk. My production has definitely dipped b/c she's getting a bit frustrated when nursing so we are starting to wean completely. I'm down to pumping once at work and nursing at night.
She's also eating three solid meals a day and eating almost anything now! She loves watermelon, grapes, blueberries, chicken
nuggets (from homemade cashew chicken), barbeque chicken, green beans,
corn, beans, shredded cheese, garlic mashed potatoes. The list really does go on and on. She really likes to eat :)
