In the past month we went on family vacation to Destin, Florida with my family and Tim's mom and dad and then came back for one week and then went on a camping trip to Big Spring on the Current River with my in-laws and Kristin, Casey and their kiddos. Elliot did amazing traveling on both trips, no meltdowns at all! We were so proud.
Said ba-ba and bye bye √ (She's actually repeating a ton of words. Not totally pronounced but you ask her to say something and tries to repeat it! Including: Papa, more, ball.)
Eating real food √
Army crawling √ (SO SO SO close to real crawling.)
Pulling up by herself and starting to walk around things √
Talking a lot √
Three more teeth (Two on top and one more on bottom!!) √
>>>Funny story about the teeth. It was after her little 9 month photo shoot when I was looking through these photos that I saw a new tooth on the top. I reached in her mouth to check it out and she not only had one new tooth, she had two! Then after her nap I looked again and there was another one! So in one day she gained three new teeth :) She's really close to getting another on the bottom too. So we are up to a total of seven teeth now.
The water, still! Mommy dunked me :)
Her water toys that squirt water (or air) in her face
Yogurt bites and Puffs
Sitting in her high chair and crafting with mama
Still loves her little blanket lovey and sleeps with it every night
Sleeping: 8-9 hours. Last feeding between 8-9 p.m. This month Elliot starting making 8 pm her bedtime. Usually we could push her back a little while but starting on vacation the first week of July when it hit 8 pm she would just lose it until we put her down. That lasted a few weeks and this week she has started going down between 8:30-9pm. Tim and I are glad! When she goes to be by 8 pm that doesn't give us much time together at all.
Eating: 5-6 oz every three hours. Elliot's been taking half formula half breast milk bottles at the sitters pretty much since she started. Anytime we were together though I could just nurse her with not supplementing (except for her last feeding of the day). Until now :( We realized it on vacation. She wasn't crying for more after she would nurse but she started waking up during the night to eat. We started giving her a bottle (maybe 3-4 oz) after I would nurse and she was much happier and slept a lot better. So now we supplement after each feeding. I'm still hanging on to nursing, it is especially nice in the morning b/c that is the one feeding we don't have to supplement after. Makes it convenient!
She's also started to eat yogurt bites and puffs, plus a lot of other foods! The puffs and yogurt bites happened while on vacation in Florida. Totally kept her entertained while out to dinner! We've just started giving her small things she can eat like cottage cheese, shredded cheese, potatoes, beans, watermelon (she loves watermelon). She does not like green beans. At all.
