Sleeping: Trying to get her down around 8 pm now. We realized we didn't think she was getting enough sleep so we've started putting her down a bit earlier. It seems to be working b/c she is actually sleeping until around 6:30-7 am most of the time.
Eating: We are officially don't breastfeeding. In Florida I realized that we needed to start supplementing after breastfeeding. The only feeding a day we didn't have to supplement was the morning feeding. So I was hanging on tight to that. About a month ago we started having to supplement after that feeding and I knew it was time to let it go. Elliot was more than ready to be done. She'd tolerate it, but only latch on sometimes for a few minutes. The transition was no biggie for her. Honestly I'd rather her have self-weened than me take it away from her. It honesty took three weeks for my boobs to get the memo though.
Now Elliot is drinking between 6-8 ounces each bottle and takes around five a day in between three solid meals each day.
Her favorites right now are grapes, shredded cheese, cheese quesadillas, grilled cheese and rice.
