Annual KC Girls Trip

Our annual girls trip took us to some new spots this year! We all took off last Friday and headed straight downtown to the JuniorLeague's HolidayMart. Basically a ton of vendors with things ranging from headbands to Christmas decor and lots of clothes in between set up booths and its a shopping free-for-all. I definitely bought the most things! That night my mom and I ran down to the Plaza to hit West Elm (where I bought new curtains!) and H&M (where I scored new clothes for myself and Elliot).

Saturday we were up and about early due to Elliot's wake up routine so we killed time at Target while waiting for IKEA to open. I actually found a rug and some new pillows do it was a productive trip! Ps we are re-doing our living room so I was on a mission. IKEA. Whoa. It was really neat. I'm not sure I'd go back unless I needed something specific, but I'm glad to have gone. Honestly it was bit smaller than I expected, not sure how that's possible bc it's huge, but it was. After that we took a break at the park so the girls could play and then finished the evening at Oak Park Mall.

Sunday Kristin headed home and Terri, my mom and I hit a few stores before heading back to Springfield.

Here are some pictures from our weekend.

I bought the "believe" part of this wreath. I've got a little diy project in my future.

Shopped 'til she dropped. Both days :)

Chocolate Bag is still just as yummy to go!

The past month!

The beginning of fall. Aaaaaahhhhh. (With a refreshing sigh, not a panicking scream.) I love fall. It's my favorite season. I wasn't quite ready for it this year b/c summer went so fast, but the cool, crisp mornings snapped me into it. It's been a busy month. But isn't it always?! I feel like I say that each month. Maybe I need to do something about that. Anyway, here's some pictures. Mostly of our smiley, silly, chatty, almost one-year-old!

Meeting cousin Emery for the first time!
