Wowie! Everyone keeps saying they can't believe it has been six months already but Tim and I were talking about how long ago it feels like the hospital stay was. It just felt like Elliot has always been with us. I'm loving it and hoping I can continue the cherish the "in the now" attitude and enjoy everyday.
This month has brought some exciting things! And I know there are even more to come in the next few months based on what the doctor told us at her appointment.
Rolling over (from back to front AND front to back!) √
Loving tummy time √
Super interested in the dogs, she could watch them all day √
Doing the wobbly sit-on-her-own √
"Raking" her fingers √ (I didn't know this was a milestone but I guess it leads to using her index finger and thumb to pick up things)
Reaching for people √ (Especially mommy :) when she gets to Wendy's at the end of the day)
Enjoys being outside √
Sleeps on her belly most of the time, but likes her side too √
EATING CEREAL and FOOD!! We had our first go around last night, she didn't hate it! I'll post some pics soon :)
Saying "m" and "d" sounds like mama and dada

Head size: 44" 92%
Sleeping: 6-9 hours. Last feeding between 8-10 p.m.
After she got sick she started waking up again between 1-3am to nurse. I noticed she sleeps great at nap time with her bamboo Aden and Anais blanket. One night, in the middle of the night (after she had slept the two previous nights without waking up, so I knew she could do it) I gave her her blanket. She slept the rest of the night! On a regular basis we were afraid she might get tangled up so we got her a little "lovey"
out of the same material she can sleep with and us not worry. She loves it! We only give
it to her if she's going to sleep on her own or wakes up in the middle
of the night. But it is going great and has cut down on her nighttime feeding. We think she is starting to get teeth now though, so that will probably change it up :)
Eating: 4-5 oz every three hours until the last bottle at the
sitter. Breast feeding about every three hours when we are together.
