We've never seen the dogs play in the water when our backyard has flooded but we've always talked about wanting to take the boys to the creek so I told Tim to try to get them to get in and see what they thought. By the looks of the videos Tim sent me Goose is a big fan, Wyatt not so much.

Birthday Celebration
We were at the lake on my actual birthday so the Sunday before we all went to Nakato for dinner and Fruity Land for dessert. I snapped a few pics with my new phone that I got for birthday! Oh, and it was my first day for maternity clothes!
PS I posted these photos using the blogger app and it doesn't seem to keep the awesome quality of my new iPhone camera. Boo.

One month until we know
The date has been set. One month until we find out if we are having a boy or a girl! Our ultrasound is schedule for Thursday, June 13 at 11:30 a.m.
I had a baby doctor appointment yesterday and the baby is doing well. Heart rate is 150. We also chose to do the blood tests to screen for Cystic Fibrosis, Down Syndrome, Trisomy 13 and Trisomy 18. If all is good and all markers are negative then no further action/tests will need to be taken. This doesn't guarantee none of these will happen, but the chances are less. If any of the screenings come back positive they will call us within the next two weeks. We will then have to see a high-risk doctor and do an amniocentesis to get confirmed test results. Just b/c a marker is positive doesn't mean our baby would have anything wrong. The "amnio" would confirm (or not) if that is the case. That step is optional and Tim and I have not decided if we will go that far. Just to be clear we aren't doing these tests to terminate the pregnancy if something were wrong, we just want to be as prepared as possible. So fingers crossed for all negative markers!

Mother's Day 2013
The tradition of a joint brunch at our house continues! And Chris has been dubbed the "waffle-maker" for all time. Tim and I are both so lucky to have great mammas in our lives, they've great to us as moms and as mother-in-laws as our families have combined. We love getting to celebrate them! This year I even got a few pressies since I am a mommy-to-be! A new hanging plant from Tim, a potted plant from my mom and day and a hydrangea (which we've already planted) from Tim's family.

Camping Time
Tim may or may not have rented a campsite for Memorial Day say 8 months ago. Well now we have a camper to fill it! To say he's excited is a complete understatement, he's honestly beaming. It's so cute. I don't know a ton about it yet other then it is a '93 Four Winds, is in super great condition and it's ours!

Junior League Charity Ball
Saturday night was Junior League's fancy, dancy fundraiser Charity Ball. We got to go beacuase 417 Magazine was a sponsor and we had a table. Logan, Nicole and I snagged the tickets since we are in (or joining in Nicole's case, JLS); we had two additional seats so Chris and Ashley joined us. We had a fun night that ended with dancing to an awesome 80's cover band Member's Only.
