The date has been set!

Well today is Miss Elliot's official due date. Friday, October 25. I'm so excited that I made it the full 40!! And honestly I'm not miserable. I've had it pretty easy these last few months which has made this experience so enjoyable. I have really loved being pregnant. I'm not dying to get her out yet, but I am dying to meet her! And we will, by Wednesday at the latest! I guess Thursday early early morning if she decides to take her time with the induction process. So if she hasn't come on her own by Wednesday we will go in for an induction at 7 a.m. This can be a very long and painful process but it will all be worth it! So prayers for a quick delivery :)

At the doctor yesterday we had an ultrasound to check her weight and position and all looked great! She is head down still (yay!). She is measuring about 7 lbs 9 oz right now. They said that could vary one pound in either direction but usually they are within 1/2 a pound of that guesstimate. But she will have 6 more days to grow and they gain about half a pound a week, so she could be up into the lower 8's maybe. Not big enough that the doctor was concerned about me having any issue delivering vaginally.

We got some pics too! It was much easier to see all of her features on the screen but I wanted to share the pics anyway. She is going to be a chubby baby! The ultrasound tech said (and showed us) she has a fat roll on her forehead! Her little arms and legs a chunky too and she's got chubby cheeks for sure. Her top lip still seems bigger than her bottom lip, just like in the 20 week ultrasound we had.

Pumpkin Painting

SOCIAL Shop • Gather • Create is a new boutique in town that has a "Pinterest Project Room" in the back. Basically you pick a craft and go there and they have EVERYTHING you need! Our staff had a fun committee event there last night and we had such a blast. All I took were my pumpkins and they had the rest. They also have adorable clothes and really fun little gifty items. I may or may not have gotten a Christmas pressie for someone too :)

Mr. Hamra's 31st Birthday Celebration

This past weekend we celebrated John turning 31. We had dinner and drinks (including sake bombs!, none for me of course) at Kai and finished the night at Skinny Slims.

Baby Shower for Tim

Tim works with some sweet ladies that were thoughtful enough to throw us a baby shower! It was a "diapers and gift cards" shower and we got a ton of both! They did a baseball theme but everything was pink :)

Three random acts of kindness in honor of miss Stella's third birthday

As many of you remember my boss Logan had a beautiful little miracle three years ago. October 3 would have marked Stella's third birthday. Logan's friend Katie had this amazing idea, and emailed all of Logan's friends and family, for everyone to fulfill three Random Acts of Kindness (RAKs) in honor of Stella's birthday. We all did this in secret and Katie put everyone's RAKs together in a scrapbook and presented it to Logan on Saturday after Game Day. To say that Logan was blown away was an understatment.

Here is what she said on FB: A lot of good karma was put into the world last week. That's because my dear, sweet friend Katie Sapienza Hoesch spearheaded an effort to get my friends and family far and wide to complete three Random Acts of Kindness in honor of Stella's third birthday. I had no idea this was happening until my girlfriends presented me with a scrapbook on Saturday that detailed what each person chose as their three RAKs. From New York, Chicago and Phoenix to Florida and all parts of 417-land, amazing things were happening in honor of Stella and I cried as I read each one. You all have no idea what this meant to me and I declare it an annual tradition for the Aguirre family. Much love and many thanks to all of you. Facebook won't let me tag everyone but you all know who you are.

Here is what I did for my RAKs in honor of Stella:
This was my favorite! I took three Andy's gift cards up to the NICU at Cox Hospital where Stella spent the first five months of her life. I gave these to the nurse and ask her to pick three deserving mamas to receive a sweet treat.

I left enough quarters at a local car wash for the next person's vacuum and car wash to be taken care of.

I left enough money in our snack area at work (all snacks are .50 cents) for the next 16 snacks to be free just in time for late proof night.

Lost and Found Game Day

This Saturday marked the second annual Lost and Found Game Day event. Lost and Found is a grief counciling center that helped Logan and Dave (and Lucy) after Stella passed away. Her, Kari, John and Trina are all on the Young Ambassadors Board and the committee to plan this fun event. Basically everyone just gets together to watch the MIZZOU game. We played Vanderbuilt this year and won! Speaking of winning, I won two raffle prizes. Both signed memorabilia. One was a card signed by DGB, not GDB as I originally told Tim :) and the other was a small helmet signed by mutiple guys. As you can tell they didn't mean a whole lot to me and Kari's dad loved the helmet so I passed me prize on to him. Toward the end of the game so many people has left and left their raffle tickets with us we knew we were bound to win again and we never did!
