BBQ at the Bro-ham's Casa

Chris and Ashley hosted a BBQ at Chris's house. There was a TON of food and lot's of yard games, including Hillbilly Golf and giant Jenga. Chris drew random teams for the Hillbilly Golf Tourney and we ended up on a team! Too bad we lost in the first round. We almost made a comeback but couldn't quite make it back to the finals. I guess I forgive you for hammering me in the foot with the golf balls.

A little bit of the tropics

Tropical Sno that is :) Tim has converted me into a sno cone lover. I'd never really been into them much before him, At least not that I can remember. But now I'd kind if fancy the cool ice. I have determined however I don't like an excess amount of juice. I like the ice with a hint of flavor, unlike Tim who likes a hint of ice in his juice. Lucky for us there is a Tropical Sno in Republic this year so I'm sure that won't be our only stop.

"Texas Trash" Bean Dip

Well, that's what someone on Pinterest called it. It was easy and yummy and the only photos I got at our pool party/BBQ earlier in the weekend.

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
2 cans (16 ounces, each) refried beans
1 packet taco seasoning
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
2 cups Monterrey jack cheese, shredded

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together cream cheese and sour cream in a large bowl.

Mix in refried beans until combined.

Stir in taco seasoning.

Spray a 9x13 baking pan with cooking spray. Spread mixture evenly into the bottom of the baking dish. Sprinkle the top with both cheeses.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cheese in melted and slightly browned. Serve with tortilla chips.

The Celebrating of Father's Day 2012

Like I said, lot's of celebrating too :) The sons and dads headed out on their yearly golf excursion around 8 a.m. The ladies (and Casey and Easton) came over around noon and all swam and ate some linner (you know, lunch/dinner?!) and enjoyed the company. Like usual more photos than I could post. Click here to check out all of them.

Pool fun!
Going to get brave and jump in by herself

The dads and might I add winners of the 4th annual Golf Fiasco (with their custom designed shirts for the occasion)

Note, feet out.

Not sure who this guy is about to get me, so feet up.

Yep. officially scare. Feet in.

Sweet moves

Yes, I am standing in the pool with my dad's fancy camera. I was holding on tight :)

Come on dad, share with us!

Sleepy time. See Tim back there?
